Malty and grainy helles, floral hop, light honey. Easy. Some light wort like notes, but goes down OK.

Poured deep red/lila with a pink head.
Blackcurrant nose. Pleasantly sour, mostly blackcurrant notes, hint ot harshness from rhubarb. Dry and flavorful.

Poured black in color.
Barrel shows. Licorice, roastedness, tobacco. Malty, surprisingly drinkable. Balanced.

Poured pitch black in color.
Bourbony nose, wood, quite light body for the abv. Boozy finish. Leathery.

Toasted malty, slightly caramely with some toffee, grassy hops, hay, earthiness and bitterness. Easy going, balanced and crushable, proper old skool bitter.

Poured clear and golden in color.
Fairly malty, clean brew. Has some sweet malts, light grass. Good drinkability.

(Keg at Gallow's Bird Tapiola, 20240913) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, dense, white and it lasted long. Aroma had toasted malts, toffee, earth and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, grass, earth, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had earth, toffee and bitterness. A tasty but bit too fizzy brew.

(Keg at Gallow's Bird Tapiola, 20250912) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and honey. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste had herbalness and bitterness. A good hoppy brew with malty notes. Pleasantly dry.
