(Keg at Gallow's Bird Tapiola, 20251226) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, honey and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, herbalness, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste had honey, grass and bitterness. A clean and good pils.

Heavy, sweetish, malty and caramely with loads of toffee, oaky woodiness, hints of syrup, brown sugar, whiskey, vanilla and hints of prunes. Pretty balanced and tasty.

Crisp, hoppy and grassy with some hay, earthiness, hints of breadiness, stuffy maltiness and lingering bitterness. Slightly unbalanced, but crushable bitter pils for hopheads.

On tap at Gallows Bird - Tapiola, pours a hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is jumbled, with bready malt, earthiness, not much else. Flavour is sweet, with syrupy caramel malt, bready notes, some earthiness. No real hops, lacking balance. Amateur nonsense.
