500ml bottle from Utobeer. Oh so I was a bit far gone when I had this, but still. Pretty much as you would expect a dark weizen to look, muddy brown with a touch of gold with a lasting white head. Banana and cereal aroma. Some toffee. OK in mouth with more banana and cereal and toffee on end. Slightly tart and dry on finish. Fair enough beer.

Bottle: Straw golden coloured, thin but lacing white head; shy sweetish malty, nearly caramelly nose, distinct herbal hoppiness with a faint citrusy tinge; quite dry, moderate bitter flavour; slightly bitter, short aftertaste; non demanding, but well done, though......

Golden colour, clear; with very fine just off-white head, leaving shards of lace. Creamy, chalky nose leading to grain and some sweet pale malts, lined by spicey-herbal aroma’s rather than hops. Garden herbs, flowery. Dry-herbal and hoppy flavour with just enough malts for balance. Just a bit nondescript sweetness in mid-flavour, finish is again light, but fine hoppy-bitterness. Light body, rather well-carbonated. Maybe undramatic, but nonetheless fine-balanced and even refined southern German Pilsener. Pity I couldn’t find this one on tap.

(bottle) Cloudy and slightly murky yellow colour with a big and quite firm white foamy head. Dense citric and malty aroma with a tinge of cloves. Quite watery body, slight fruity and malty taste with a short & thin finish with only hints of cloves. Not very exciting.

(bottle) Dark cloudy amber colour with a thick rocky off-white head. This beer offers not much aroma and taste. Very shy fruity and malty aroma. Watery texture and taste, almost no finish. Not bland, even bad.
