An interesting very light yellow colour with no head at all. Other than that, nothing interesting about this boring strong lager.

Honeyish malt, aromatic hop aroma, also a hint of sponge after the initial exitement wears off. Clear pale golden with a greenish tint, lowish fluffy head. Malt is comparably subdued, somewhat empty middle, good bitter exit. Somewhat lightbodied, the brew is perhaps closer in style to north german pilsener.

Bottled. Pale yellow with creamy head. Firm and very dry. Crisp and vital with really bitter finish. A tremendously well made pils!

Brown-grey, very hazy. (Actually pretty ugly!) Light bodied, a hint of tofee, some estery flavours.

Very pale in colour, but otherwise a typical example of the style - fruity, lightly yeasty, lots of banana.

I've never been a huge dunkelweizen fan, but this one's not bad. Good balance (meaning the phenols don't clash with the dark malts, which I usually find is the case with this style).

A bit abrasive and overpowering rauchbier. ................................

Badly skunked (green bottle) with just a hint of smokiness in the aroma. Similar for the flavor. Not nearly as much smokiness as the Schlenkerla rauchbier. Because of the skunking and otherwise lack of interesting traits, I dumped it after 3-4 sips.
