Bottle from the brewpub. Bottle number 36 out of 100. Poured a clear medium brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, grainy, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, warm alcohol, red berry fruit palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle number 37/100. Hazy deep amber color with off-white head. Aroma is butterscotch, toffee, fudge, raisins. Taste is the same, nice raisins. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!

Sampled at pre-Borefts tasting. Thanks John! Bit hazy dark brown with beige head. Sweet malts, raisins, vanilla, figs, whisky, toffee, flowery oak. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Over medium bodied.

ABV: 12.0%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit - prunes, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, licorice, dark malt, dark fruit - prunes, light chocolate.
