Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark brown color; thin head. I think it’s served too cold; it has a too light aroma; the flavor is very good, building some sweet maltiness and yeast fruitness around the strong core of roasted malt; then the hop bitterness (with hop aromas hidden by the roasted malt) is taking over, but at the end the bitterness is too high (too long infusion?).

Black color, creamy head. Nice smooth aroma of roasted beans, malt, bread, hop and some yeast. Served at the right temperature, and with a low carbonation, it can easily match a good Real Ale; soft malt body, fresh and smooth, with a lot of fruity caramel, some roasted malt and nuts, aromatic hops; a good balance, all throughout the final as well. Very good.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Very dark brown, brief head. Aroma of grapefruit and licorice. Dry with clean, hard mouthfeel. Very roasty with notes of metal and blood. Short finish with medium bitterness. Lovely hoppiness, but the malt profile is it’s drawback.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Really black with rich, rocky head. Roasty, lightly grainy coffee aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and notes of honey.Coffee dominates. A beefy porter, but the sweetness along with notes of molasses reduces my enjoymant. Spicy finish with medium bitterness.Very American style porter.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Pitch black, firm beige head. Strong chocolatey aroma. Medium sweet with creamy mouthfeel. Mildly roasty with some milky chocolate. Towards the finish toffee, grass and licorice picks up. The bitterness is gentle, but builds up to respectable levels. A schoolbook example of oatmeal stout.
