[Updated on 31/12/2025, in a less cantankerous mood.] 473mL can. Pours clear pale amber with a white head. Toasted bread crusts on the nose. Flavour has bready malts, bread crusts, some fermented wheat character that's not great. Somewhat bitter, moreso on the finish. It's fine, not the cleanest malt expression, but better than my initial rating.
[20/12/2025] On tap at their Halifax taproom. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Light toasted crackers on the nose. Flavour has stale toasted crackers, some dry grass. A pretty midline amber.

On tap at Tusket Falls Beer Project. Pours nearly black with a tan head. Freshly baked bread on the nose. Flavour is packed full of deep roasted malts, toasted nuts, dry dark caramel. Very good malt depth, this is fantastic.

On tap at their Halifax taproom. Pours opaque yellow with a white head. Bright allium and sharp pine on the nose. Flavour has loads of allium, though pretty fresh and borderline citrusy, fresh pine. Minimal bitterness or carbonation. I like the hop expression, but the bitterness and carb need work.

On tap at their Halifax taproom. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Lots of spicy herbal grass and cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has lots of crisp, spicy dry grass, cracker malts, and great carbonation. Fantastic Czech pilsner.

On tap at their Halifax taproom. Pours clear blonde with a large white head and plenty of carbonation. Fresh pine and bright berries on the nose. Flavour has bright pine and lots of berries; light cracker malt base. Really nice, bright IPA with clean hop expression.

On tap at Battery Park Beer Bar. Pours opaque yellow with a white head. A bunch of black peppery yeast on the nose. Flavour has a ton of black pepper over a juicy citrus base. The mouthfeel is a bit soupy. I don't know what's giving it this black pepper character or if I've had too much already, but this is working for me.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with dissipating white head. This is an amber lager? It has an okay balance, lightly malty, average.

10oz pour at Halifax taproom. Pours deep dark brown with tan head. Aroma has roasted malts and coffee. Flavour has a nice depth of toasted malts, plenty coffee. Very nice porter.
