Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with a vague, orangey hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet roasty aroma with a vanilla touch. Rich, burned body, a little harsh perhaps with a very faint note of smoke. Malt bitter finish. Very solid, but to be a proper Skibsøl, I'd say that the smoke should be tuned up (Not that I personally miss that though!) 040620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, deep golden with a small, roughish off-white head. Perfumy, citrusy hop aromas. Medium body, sweet malts and fruitiness combined with an underlying buttery touch. God aroma hops throughout leading to a bitter fiish. Typicak APA, not sure where the New England part comes in as this neither looks or taste like one. 040620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a smallish, off-white head. Fudgey nose - diacetyl? Medium body, very sweet maltiness and some floral notes. The diacetyl becomes more evident in the flavor. Some late hops. Drinkable though. 040620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear dark amber with a creamy and lacing beige head. Toffee, biscuit and nuts in the nose. Medium body, very soft on the palate. Good late bittering hops make for a balanced beer. Solid craftmanship. 040620
