Keg at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Light yellow bordering on straw. Clear with a fair bit of visible carbonation. Light lemony aroma. Bittersweet taste with a grassy herbal note. Full body with medium to heavy carbonation. Not bad.

Can at LKS. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is grainy, sweet, cornbread, metallic, wet grass, icing sugar and candy. The taste is dry, crisp, quite metallic, grainy, cereal, old dead malt, spice and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and average, foamy carbonation. A bit grainy and metallic. No good.

Can shared in Hackney - many thanks to Davey. Pours clear yellow-gold with a billowing white head. Big grainy pale malts with nips of lemon peel, cereal. Light sweet flavour with some husky bitterness, dry cereal, faint plastic. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with faint astringency, more pale grains, citrus peel. So so.

Can. Mitchell's Wines, Sheffield. Lively pour. Hazed Gold. Huge, rocky, dirty white head. Nose seems nicely balanced biscuity malts, and lemon and orange hoppage. A little pithy and zesty. Notes of peach stone, too. Taste is light, biscuity sweet, with clean, pithy bitterness. Clean, lightly drying mouthfeel, marred slightly by the huge fizz going on. Dry, and citrus zest bitterness to finish.
