Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Malts are soft and a little dry, modest creamy sweetness, Quite a harsh floral hop bitterness. Little marmalade - orange peel. Smooth dry finish. Long strong bitter linger. Bitter bastard!

Tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with thick white head. Aroma and raste have citrus and light fruity malts. Medium body.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Sentinel Sheffield Best Bitter ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, candy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, hay, grass, citrus, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161015] 6-3-7-3-13

Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hop, fruit and light nut. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ Sentinel Brewing Company, Sheffield. Dark brownish-red with a bubbly-creamy head. The cherry is light and provides a mild fruity sweetness against some also lightish tasting dark malts.

Tried at the Golden Eagle, beer festival. Rich and hazy golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma berry fruit citrus and yeasty. Taste is sweet then light sour. Medium body.

Hazy medium amber colour, small frothy off-white head, fairly lasting, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, apricot, orange marmalade, pine. Medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, some caramel, piney. Sweetbitter aftertaste, malty, husky and herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, quite good.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Floral hoppy and minimally bready, malty aroma, yeasty doughy overtones, a touch of malt spiciness. Taste is moderately bitter and slightly floral hoppy, slightly bready, pale malty basis with a peppery spicy touch, minimally yeasty doughy overtones, soapy hoppy interludes.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is coffee, some straw, tiramisu. Taste is coffee, a hint of chocolate on the finish, some lemon freshness. Carbonation is nice. Interesting take on the style.
