Bottle (courtesy of EithCubes): Straw golden, clean, small lacing white head, visible carbonation;sweet-grainy nose, sweetish flavour, sticky texture, grainy, a bit soapy finish. This Export isn’t really agreat pleasure, doesn’t even work as a harmless thirst-quencher..................

(swing top bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a firm and quite stable white foam. Dusty, slightly citric and papery malty nose with a touch of grassy hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium body, crispy mouthfeel. Yeasty and malty taste with a hoppy background, which is slightly grassy and herbal; bitter hoppy, slightly papery and a bit sticky finish. Drinkable but not particularly demanding Zwickel Pils.

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a beige, medium-sized foamy head. Sweet, moderately molassy and roasted malty nose with leafy and nutty accents, accompanied by a subtle fruity note. Sweet flavour with a light bitterness, medium to full body with a medium carbonation. Dark and moderately roasted malty taste; quite dry and slightly burnt finish with a balancing bitter hoppy note, plus a tinge of alcohol. Uncomplicated, not too sweet Bock (09.08.08).
