500ml bottle; BB 25th Jun 19. Brought home from Germany by me and drank at home on 20th Sep 2018. I do not own a specialist 'Bock' glass, so I poured it into my HB Munchner Kindl Weissbier glass. Lovely clean brown body, huge beige blanket of foaming bubbles on top. Malts all the way here, roasted aroma and taste, toffee and nutty, woody and caramel flavours abound. Sweet, yet with a singed dryness, almost smoky feel alongside a bitterness mid-sip, which leads to a dry aftertaste. One of the best (and slightly unusual) Dunkel Bocks I have tasted so far.

0,5 l long neck bottle from kappldav123. Clear golden with a nearly two finger frothy white head in the glass. Dry grainy smell. Taste starts more grassy, soft malty, metallic background. Some citrus. Low bitterness. Not bad but also nothing special.

Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Bit moldy aroma. Starts mild, quite malty, moldy, modest sweetish, notes of breat. Typical non alcohol beer. Nothing special.

Bottle looks very simple, but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, yeasty, modest dry. Fine fruity hints of apricot, mild sourish. Interesting fresh-hoppy notes in the background. Hints of lemon. Well balanced finish. Quite drinkable. Much better than exspected!

Bottle from Getränke-Quelle, Ilsenburg. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 100417
