On tap at Prost-Boise. Silky smooth, velvety head. Malty, fruity, not as roasty or bitter as I would have guessed, closer to a dunkel. Dry Finish.

Malzig hefiger, etwas bitterer Antrunk. Zum Mittelteil nimmt die Hefigkeit deutlich ab, etwas dumpf. Milde Herbe, kaum würzig, eher laffer Nachhall. Leider nimmt das Bier nach einem gelungenen Start schnell ab und wird langweilig. 10/8/8/7/8/7

Draft at Reichenbach Hall. Dark brown without much head or lacing. Muted malt aroma. Roast, a bit of chocolate and caramel. Similar flavor. Touch watery with a slightly over carbonated mouthfeel. Very okay.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with some faint hoppy touches. Sweetish, estery and malty flavour with grainy notes and mild hoppy touches. Notes of paper in the aftertaste, which is rather estery. Drinkable but rather watery and not quite interesting.

Bottle, 4.7%. OK malty aroma, a bit of lager and a faint floral aroma hop. Very small white head. The flavour has a low bitterness and OK maltiness. A little papery like many German Gold beers. OK, but not my type of brew.

Draught @ Reichenbach Hall. Dark brown with reddish tint, sizeable spongy beige head, faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, lightly bitter caramelized malt taste, abrupt finish with roasted aftertaste. Very smooth and drinkable.
