Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a film of a khaki foamy head which dissipated inward into oblivion, no lace
Aroma: deep dark chocolate, milk chocolate, dark coffee roast, earthy hops, dark fruits, chestnuts and sweet wood
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty sweet to sweet & bitter coffee quality; finishes dry and semi-roasty with a little bit of bitter coffee to dark chocolate tones
Texture: medium bodied; this is a sipper; good smoothness as a slight dryness nicks the tongue slightly
Overall: a very nicely done impy stout and no frills just a straight up impy stout. I'd return to this.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown color with two fingers worth of eggshell white foamy head which slowly dissipated to leave some light lace
Aroma: some Belgian candy, light woody spice, roasted dark malts, Old Spice deoderant (seriously, I swear I smelled this several times and can't seem to get that out of my mind)
Flavor: blends all the prior mentioned aromas to blend roasty, sweet, spicy and toasty; semi-faint Belgian spicy aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, between being a sipper and some kind of sessionability about it, semi-dry and brisk woody and Belgian spicy finish
Overall: odd Belgian beer, I think I liked it, I'm just trying to rehash in my mind how "Old Spice deoderant" gets in the aroma of any beer. Insert shrugging emoji here if I could.
