Description
Eden was born out of a dream of better beer. The kind of beer that requires love and hard work. The kind of beer you demand; beer for people who aren't afraid to push themselves.

The harder we work, the more we can relax by exploring the beautiful landscape we call home and popping the cap on a well earned beer at the end of the day.

330ml can: BBE Sep 18, obtained from Gloucester Motorway Services. Poured into a large Leffe chalice at home on 23rd Mar 18. Golden body, bright, clear and clean, white topping that tried to hang around. Hoppy and fairly dry in nature, nose has a corn/grain leaning, taste does not. Light citrus flavours come through as the beer warms a little, but enough to get excited about.

330ml can; BBE Sep 18. Drank at home on 8th Feb 18. Misty golden body, wispy white topping. Tropical fruits in the aroma, with a citrusy leaning, taste similar, citrus fruit flavours to the fore, some malt semi-sweetness calms the beer down; decent.

26th Jan 2018; 330ml can into a 'Good People' of Birmingham, Alabama pint glass at home. Clean and clear amber pour, until I tip the last drops out of the can, then some sediment arrived to mist up the look, huge off-white topping. Piney hops with some citrusy friends rule the aroma, taste also hop dominant. Light malty undertones try to balance out the hop bitterness, not actually doing so; semi-bitter finish and a decent dry/bitter brew overall.

500ml bottle, labelled as RUBY RED CHRISTMAS ALE. I am sure it's the same beer, just re-labelled. 4.9% ABV and spiced (ginger, cloves and Christmas spice according to the front label). Anyway this was poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 26th Jan 2018. Looked lovely, bright and clear chestnut, but very little head. The aroma and taste is all about the spice input and the accompanying sweetness the spices appear to have imparted to an already sweet molasses based beer (I think). The ginger adds a hotness to the sweet brew, the cinnamon also coming through powerfully flavour wise. Enjoyed this, but it is a bit sweet, even for my sweet tooth.

Handpull cask from the Eagle and Child, Staevely. Light brown, clear with a small foamy off-white head. Very little aroma: some grass, some white pepper. Sulphurous bittersweet taste with malt overtones. Sourish finish with a metallic aftertaste. Pretty terrible.
