Flaske, gave fra Asle Bjørn: maltaroma som antyder geitost fra en sæter og torvrøyk. Mye smak til 4,7 å være: litt kokekaffe, mørk sirup og nevnte torv. Saftig. Burde være et helårsøl!

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of yeast, phenols, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, phenols, wet hay, and acid, leading to a dry finish. Flawed.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a dense white head. Grassy, herbal hop aroma. Medium body, very fizzy, quite a dry fruitiness and a little late hops. Very little to get thrilled about - and the massive carbonation is rather annoying. 200713

0.5l bottle from #137. This one is light cloudy in the glass, almost what I would call deep blurry, brown orange in color and it has a medium sized grey head. It doesn't really smell fantastic. A bit old, almost dusty fruity with yeast. It kinda opens up after a while growing big with those slightly sour red fruits. Hard to pinpoint the genre of this. It has flavors this. That's for sure. It feels thin and almost watery on the mouthfeel and it's above average on he carbonation. More yeasty fruits in the taste, lots if minerals, I get a good forest-like bitterness here and a mild toffee sweetness. Easy to drink, and imo a decent ale. Not sure what genre it is though.. 24.04.2013

0.5l bottle from #133. This is a cloudy deep dark orange one - almost bronze in color with a medium sized good looking almost fluffy off-white head. The aroma is of the non-extreme kind, but I get traces of gentle ripe fruits, a caramel sweetness and some herbal needles. It's what I would call lively on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is light thin oily. Again some herbal tones in the taste, it's well bitter with earthy tones. It's a bit mineral-ish as well. Not all that to be honest, but still decent. 24.04.2013

Hazy orange body, lasting thin layer on top. Really interessting and fresh: crowberry, moss, mountain lake, apple peel with hint of tangerine and lemon. Cool label design. Thanks to Rune for sharing his 500ml bottle purchased in Oslo and carried all the way to our Rating Session in Tromsø 3.Jan.2012.
