28/7/2023. Keg at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, malt, citrus, grains, bread. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery and creamy, average carbonation. Not bad.

28/7/2023. Keg at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours cloudy pale golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, straw, tropical fruits, hops, dank edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Quite decent.

Keg @ Xylo, Margate. Hazy yellow-gold with a small head. Lovely citrus tropical fruit nose, but this doesn't quite transfer as well in taste, where it is a little hoppier.

Can at home, picked up from the brewpub, 05/02/23. Murky orange with a good sized off white covering. Nose is orange squash, papaya, melon, grass, soft malts, grapefruit, Taste comprises bitter sweet tropical fruits, papaya, tangerine, light pine tickle, soft malts, light perfume. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close doused with balanced juice laden hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking IPA.

Keg at NorthDown taproom, 08/10/22. Light black with a khaki head. Nose is dark malts, cocoa sprinkle, herb, toffee, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises cocoa powder, chocolate biscuit, dusty hop presence, brown sugar melt, almost a level of dankness offered, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Tidy enough stout.

Keg at Xylo, Margate, 07/10/22. Fucking ratebeer fail when attempting to post rate. Can't be arsed retyping all that. OK Talus affair ... mixed tropical fruits, hint of lime, leafy hop bitterness. Still more informative than ticks and half the garbage rates we see I suppose.

Keg at Xylo, Margate, 07/10/22. Moderately hazed golden yellow with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is lemon rind, grass, dusty hops, bready notes, hint floral, herb. Taste comprises lemongrass, airy malts, lemon zest, faint soapy tones, citric tinged straw, melon, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Okay stuff but not quite nailed the style for me.

Keg at Xylo, Margate, 07/10/22. Hazed golden orange with a decent just off white cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, hint of cheesey wotsits, grapefruit, pine nip, grass. Taste comprises sharp citric pith, grapefruit, ripe melon, raw pineapple, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with assertive juicy come grassy hop bitterness. OK IPA...just a slight cheesy note to the nose.
