Hm, I know I'm a nitpicker, but still- The small tan head disappeared pronto and the color, when held up to a 100 w bulb in the narrow part of the glass, is a hazy garnet. Aromas are cocoa and dark ripe fruit, toffee. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet and with a very long boozy finish.Trying to imagine how this would cellar... just lose some of the alcohol heat? It's already very mellow.

Had offsite meeting that ended early stopped by WOB for some new brewery ticks. Normal lager colored. Nose is grainy and doughy. Tastes of raw dough, some peppery notes, lemon air freshener. Crisp.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice bourbon note with dark grains and a touch of roasted malts backing. Flavor has earthy dark grains and musty roast with light bourbon and a hint of dryness.

Bottle: Poured an orange with white. Aroma is mosaic hops. Taste is bitter hops, loads of mosaic.

Fairly crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a smooth, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light herbs, some stale malt with a small dose of grassy and slightly piney hops with no bitterness at all. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and lightly resinous flavour with some balanced malts that show more biscuits and bread than anything else along with a very light citrus sweetness. Aftertaste shows the light grasses, a touch of grain, a little herbs, but just some subtle sweetness and a little hoppiness with no real bitterness or bite from those hops. Overall, a fresh and grassy IPA that shows almost like a Light IPA with some herbs and mellow sweetness at the end. Nice to sample given that I haven't seen anything from this brewery in the midwest, but was available here in New York. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint-sized can purchased a few minutes ago from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 23-February-2018 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room just a few minutes later on 23-February-2018.

Lively and dry but also wet mouthfeel?, unique and bit thick. Weird mix and complex. Bit funky.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma of very nice coffee with some dark treacly background. Med + body or better. Flavor is very nice coffee, dark treacle and arguably some chocolate. It's very smooth and very tasty. From from dry, but coffee bitter. Just excellent.

16 ounce can. Hazy pale gold color. Large frothy beige head. Faint citrus hop nose. Tangy, fruity citrusy and crisp flavor upfront. Bittersweet grapefruit and lemon. Not as juicy as most New England IPA's but definitely packs a citrus wallop. Some pine notes in finish. Quite good in my opinion despite the previous low ratings.
