Bottle @ Gastropub Klaipeda, Kiev. Murky dark brown with small frothy beige head, strong caramel aroma, low carbonation, sweet start to taste followed by caramel, abrupt finish with caramel aftertaste. Very interesting brew.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Many thanks to Colin and his workmate. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. The aroma is all doughy bread, rich diacetyl, light toffee, butterscotch. Light-medium sweet flavor, a little papery, with faint butter, cereal and hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, a touch oily, with more dough, paper and cereal. Not excellent.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small, collapsing, white head, a good deal of sparkling is going on. Muggy, mouldy, grainy aroma, slightly bready and doughy, a mixture of brackwater and honey. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly tart, hints of diluted honey, a floral touch, hints of grass and bamboo; tastes way fresher than feared considering the aroma. Slightly strange overall.

Bottle shared at The Cad’s 10 year get together. 29/03/2015. Many thanks to ThePeter. Semi-clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head.Aroma is big diacetyl, sweet caramel, earthy, wort, brown bread. Flavoue is sweet rye bread, caramel, dirty bread, diacetly. Palate is cloyingly sweet, lowish carbonation.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to Matt at work, 10/09/15. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off White covering. Nose is bready malt, sugary notes, vanilla, hint of diacetyl. Taste comprises sweet licks, caramel, honey, bread dough, pale malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Overly sweet and ultimately forgettable.

Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Thanks to Colin. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with mild fine carbonation. Rich pale malts, thick bready flavours. Ripe floralness and a touch of ripe citrus. Light finish. Tasty enough.

Big swing top bottle care of Cloin. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a thick white head. The nose is earthy, musty, light sulphur that dissipates rafter a while, paper and white bread. The nose is very sweet, white bread, light pepper, big sweetcorn character throughout and sugar paper with a short finish. Light -medium body and moderate carbonation. Far too sweet. Not for me...

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. 25/08/2015. Thanks to Daniel. Clear amber / orange coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is golden grahams cereal, nutty, appe, earth ginger, pepper. Flavour is composed of sugary rye bread rye, papery, bready. Very off sugary sweet watery. Palate is thin and papery, sweet, moderate carbonation.
