The tradition of our house goes back to Wolfgang Pfeffer, who founded the brewery in 1889. He made the recipe for our steam beer. His demands on quality and taste are still the guideline for our art of brewing. Heller, leicht würziger Beginn. Dabei weder besonders herb noch hopfig, geringfügig malzig, etwas getreidig. Dieses eher langweilige Aroma setzt sich im Mittelteil fort, leicht süß. Trinkbar. 9/6/10/7/7/7

[backlog] 29-04-16 // on tap at Jack Inn, Mainz. Hazy golden colour, solid white head. Hoppy nose. Some fruits. Light body. Light sweet. Nice hoppy aroma, some fruits. Refreshing summer beer.

Yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma is fresh, fruity, grapes, already feels like it’s going to be dry. Taste is light, hints of biscuity malts, a fruity touch and dry finish. Crisp. Ok.

Smooth and fresh beginning. Smooth and grainy. The body is dry, a bit grainy. On the tongue remains a grainy and not too bitter aftertaste. But sessionable.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty, slightly doughy aroma with a banana touch, hints of red berries. Taste is doughy yeasty, a touch of banana, a minimally tart touch of red berries.

500ml bottle. Minimally milky golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, smow-white head. Cautious fruity hoppy aroma with hints of mandarine and melon on pale malty basis with a husky protein touch. Taste is minimally sweet, minimally tart, slightly fruity hoppy, hints of mandarine and lemon, some husk, a minimally strawy touch; slightly grassy finish. Light and refreshing - cute petite summer beer.
