750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out woody notes, some vinous notes, and light salt. Flavour certainly still has some salt left after all this time, followed by red wine and wood, and citrus on the finish. Woody, tart and citrusy on the finish, with substantial acidity. Not especially complex, but it works okay. Meh.

On tap. Pours black with moderate foamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate milk, light vanilla and light toasted malts. Flavors of same creamy and smooth. Nice enough - simple but well crafted.

Sample at RBSG PGH 2016. Cloudy golden yellow color. Aroma of funk and tannins. Taste has vanilla, stone fruit, wine. Nice.

750ml bottle pours a muddy orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose has apple cider vinegar, orange rind, mild pear, woody, herbs. Flavor is tart with acid, grapefruit, orange, malt, mild candy. Well balanced and a touch tart on the finish.

22oz bottle at the July DC tasting. Poured a dark amber color, light brown character. Tan head. Aroma was light tart fruit notes. Cherry character, red wine barrel notes. Fizzy finish.
