About
In 1894 the Obergärige Brauerei Heinrich Reissdorf was founded by Heinrich Reissdorf in the Cologne Severins neighbourhood. In 1923 the brewery started to brew bottom-fermented beers and it became the Privat-Brauerie Heinrich Reissdorf. Through the years it stayed in the family.

In 1996, the Privat-Brauerie Heinrich Reissdorf acquired today's company premises in the industrial area of Cologne-Rodenkirchen. With the new production facility, a brewery was created, which is equipped with the latest brewery technology and meets the highest quality standards.

Bottle from Great Grog. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of grass, lemon and steel. Flavour of cereal, soft malt and grassy hops. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. A crisp and delicious beer. Wish I’d bought more than one bottle.

Bottle online from Trembling Madness. Pours clear golden with a frothy white cap. Aroma: bread, grains, straw. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, grains, bread, some citric fruits, light hop bite. Light to medium body with foamy carbonation.

Sampled from the tap. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has slightly sweet straw and grains with a touch of bread underlying. Flavor combines bread and sweet straw with a hint of hay underlying.

Bottle at home in the beating heat with a BBQ, 17th June 22. Pours clear and straw in colour, aroma is hay and yeast, straw, taste is bready, sweet, light caramel, some bitterness towards the close. Alright with a bbq, you don’t have to think about it much

330 ml bottle. Clear light golden, small head. Grainy, citrussy and bready, lots of corn, malt and hops extract. Malty sweetness, slightly bitter. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry corny sweet finish. Nothing special.
