A malt forward Pale Ale with a great hop taste too. Lovely mouthful. Strikes me as more of a ordinary bitter than a pale. But a very good ordinary bitter.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 19th April 2025. Impenetrably black with tan foam and plenty of lacing. Rich and roasty aroma with cherry fruits and earthy spices. Grassy hoppiness, dark chocolate and pungent spices in-mouth. Hints of smoke. A lasting, complex finish of smoky roastiness and grassy hops. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Exquisite.
