This dark lager poured a deep black colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include roasted malt and dark roasted coffee. First swig was smooth and creamy with roasted flavours of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and molasses. Nothing strong on the nose. Finish is rich, slightly sweet and very roasty with coffee and cocoa flavours lingering.

This IPA poured a hazy, medium yellow colour with with a bright white, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include pineapple, grass, honey, tea and cooked veggies. First swig was a little thin. Flavours of cooked veggies, pineapple, citrus and an odd flavour I can’t put my finger on. Finish is hops and lightly bitter with lemon zest flavours lingering.

500ml @ SF (thx, Brian!) shared with Phill and Josh.
Aroma: weird candy/flowery/candied_citruses notes.
Taste: along the same lines, quite bubbly, finishes with noticeable bitterness.
Overall: meh.

A little bit murky, with a thin head. This one is quite phenolic, fairly yeasty. On the palate, it's got a bit of yeastiness, less phenolic though there are phenols in the finish. The malt base is okay, it's a bit dry, and a touch of sweetness.

Can: Poured a clear golden color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some light residual sugar notes and herbal hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some sweet notes and herbal hops notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Good pilsner with a clean malt bill and nice level of drinkability.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some floral hops notes and light passion fruit notes. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some floral undertones and passion fruit. Body is about average with medium carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA but the juicy factor could have been amplified.
