Bottle @ ZZT X, small sample, thanks all for sharing! Dark color, brown head. Aroma is very biscuity, some rye, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts. In flavor more alcohol, bit boozy and slight thin. Great aroma though and lovely beer.

Bottled 355ml. -Clear dark golden coloured, small off-white head, nutty hoppy nose. Moderate malty, caramel, fruity orange hoppy and touch of alcohol with notes of wood in the finish. Not bad.

Bottle @ ZZT X shared by me. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized dark brown color. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, liquorice, dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. Taste malts, roasted malts, bourbon, nicely bitter, liquorice, a hint of dark chocolate, lightly a hint of vanilla. Long lingering liquorice, roasty and bitter finish. Medium to full body, perfect carbonation. Wow, this is fucking awesome!

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to Kenwold, 30/09/14. Black with a ’doity’ tan head - pure smutzig this one! Nose carries big rich roasted notes, dark chocolate, spice, Nutella. Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, toffee fudge, roasted tones, maltesers, booze tunes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, rich chocolate and lightly warming alcohol in the close. Solid well joined up impy.

Craft Clerkenwell. Bottle tasting. Opaque dark brown - black beer, good dark tan head. Airy palate, semi dry with good super fine carbonation. Good rich dark malts, but delivered in a wonderfully light way. Good dark chocolate and mild roast. Mildly tangy coffee. Airy finish with a trace of nuts. A very light Imperial Stout that doesn’t compromise on flavour.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours jet black with a dirty dark tan head. The nose is rich, chocolate gateaux, cocoa, brown sugar, toast and Scottish Tablet, The taste is smooth, sweet chocolate, coffee, cake, vanilla, roast, Maltesers and dark fruits with slick finish. Medium-full body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Smooth, soft and rather easy-going. Tasty.
