Cask cellar run at The Wellington, Sheffield, RBESG 09. Reminded me of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc on the aroma with tropical fruits. Pretty decent

Cask handpull at The Wellington, Sheffield, RBESG 09. Pale gold, thin white head. An elderflower type golden ale, good to drink. Very suppable. One of the better golden ales. Really very impressive from a brew pub.

Cask at the Dragon, Worcester, 27-06-09 I was surprised to find out that The Dragon Inn own both the brewery and brew pub that this beer came from having had a long chat to the barman. Another cracking beer. Poured pale gold with the tinniest white rim for a head. This was a drier crisper beer than its stronger stablemate. Punchy hops, really nice bite to this. Plenty of that roof of the mouth furry bitterness that I really enjoy, the bitterness actually started to numb after a while. Similar and yet so very decent to the other beer that I tasted, and this is even more sessionable and a notch up from that one. Great stuff again. A8 A4 F8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Cask at the Dragon, Worcester, 27-06-09 I was surprised to find out that The Dragon own both the brewery and brew pub that this beer came from having had a long chat to the barman. This was a cracking beer. Poured pale gold with a thin white bubbly head and a decent hop nose. This is a tasty beer drinking far easier than the 5% abv would suggest. The hops spring out at yerโ€™, there is a dry furry bitterness but these are countered by some decent sweet malt flavours. Its so typical of a northern golden beer, lovely stuff. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8
