27/11/2022. Bottle from Marek. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain, caramel, cardboard, fruit and veg. Medium sweetness and a biting bitterness. Moderate body, quite chalky mouthfeel, average carbonation. Bittersweet finish, not especially pleasant.

Can from Billa Franzosengraben. Lovely coppery body, beige thick head. Creamy caramelly, flowery aroma, soft, pleasant. Lean, dry, soft, sweetish caramelly-flowery taste... apart from a tart note killing it somewhat. This is likely 8 months old... and it didn't age that gracefully, but I can believe this is a very pleasant macro vieanna when it is... this can, however, isn't.

Optisch präsentiert sich ein klares, güldenes Bier mit schöner feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich dabei flaumig-stabil und hält ganz gut. Der Duft zeigt sich sehr typisch für ein Alkoholfreies. Süßlich, spelzig, getreidig, malzbetont. Der Antrunk kommt wie erwartet ebenso leicht süßlich, getreidig-malzig, wirkt aber etwas dünn. Auch am Gaumen vernimmt man leichte Süße und getreidige bis brotige Malznoten, die lediglich einen eher dünnen Körper erzeugen. Viel mehr kommt dann auch gar nicht. Einem mäßigen Mundgefühl steht eine dennoch akzeptable Süffigkeit gegenüber. Im Nachtrunk verfliegt die Süße extrem rasch und ein durchaus guter, angenehm getreidiger Charakter bleibt über. Dieser hält sich dann auch ziemlich lange. Fazit: Wenn man sich nicht zu sehr auf die Aromen konzentriert und dieses Bier gut gekühlt als schnellen Durstlöscher hernimmt, ist es tatsächlich ganz okay.

# 3228; 10/2022. Malty, bread, slightly skunk aroma. Brilliant dark copper body; off-white head. Strong skunk flavor kills the rest, malty, herbal, bread. Maybe quite good wiener lager but my speciman was full of skunk flavor. 0,5 l, green bottle (!), supermarket, Vienna.

# 3235; 10/2022. Skunk, yeasty, malty aroma. Hazy yellow body; white head. Malty, lemon, yeasty, skunk, urea. I believe that this beer could be very tasty, but my specimen was horrible. 0,5 l, green (!) bottle, supermarket, Vienna. I took it from the regular supermarket shelf at room temperature - at home stored just for couple days in the fridge. I need to find well stored bottle or draught version.

# 3225; 10/2022. Malty, yeasty, fruity and light herbal aroma. Hazy gold body, persistant creamy lacing white head. Full body, fruity, citrus, malty, slightly yeasty and herbal. Very good drinkability. Very good zwickl. 0,5 l, draught, pub, Vienna.
