Draft. A- Peppermint, candy canes. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, white head. T- Candy canes, cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Not too sweet and definitely a candy cane flavor. This could be hit or miss for many. I did enjoy it but only in a smaller pour.

Crisp clear coloured body a thinnish pure white head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of light malt, a touch of alcohol, some subdued coffee (very interesting, as it's the coffee skin more than anything) with a final bit of sweentess from some brown sugar noticeable at the end. Light-bodied; Noticeable coffee flavours at first with a softer peat and toasted malt flavour that shows through everything and only leaves a mellow taste of astringency on the finish with a hint of bitterness from the coffee. Aftertaste shows the coffee balanced with the malt and finished with some grainy bitterness and a hint of light caster sugar with very little else. Overall, not a bad beer - actually quite interesting and still very light, although this shows more of an ale than a lager, but still refreshing and showing the coffee, too! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Hy-Vee Grocery Store in Omaha (Papillion), Nebraska on 06-November-2018 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 26-January-2019.

On tap at Crescent Moon, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of coffee upfront, with moderate roast. Flavour is bold, with oats, coffee and medium roast. Bitter and dry. Very good.

Draft. A- Nutty, roasty, slightly sweet. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Nutty, roasty, slightly sweet, light peanut butter, slightly dry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Lazy Horse has this Peanut Butter Crunch stout out and also another Peanut Butter stout. No listing of what the differences are other than this one is 2% higher ABV. That said, they definitely taste way different. Apparently Crunch is a big deal. Other one tastes like cola and this actually resembles a bit of dry slightly sweet peanut butter. Not bad.

Draft. A- Mild peach. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Mild peach, slightly sweet, very mild pepper. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This could've gone either of two ways. Super spicy or a big mess. Thankfully, it was neither. Not a ton of flavor in either direction. Peach is just barely there but adds a nice flavor, not fake or sweet and the habanero is very minimal. Just there ever so slightly to know there is something in there to tingle the taste buds but most people probably wouldn't even notice it. Surprisingly decent.

Super deep, almost pure black coloured body with a rich, three to four centimetre tall rich brown head that is fairly frothy and leaves a very ugly lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of lactose, tons of roasted malt, alcohol, coffee, bitter nuts and earth with a dose of caramelised sugars and some pitted fruits are noticeable, but the bitterness throughout is pungent and entirely front and centre. Medium-bodied; Super strong bittered nuts and anise flavour with licorice, some grain, a dose of alcohol and pungency shows through with a good deal of alcohol and the strongest by far is the pure coffee flavours which are very bitter and obtuse. Aftertaste shows some of the lactose and cream notes at first with a dash of licorice, some nuts, earth and caramel and ending with a large coffee and rich malt flavour at the tail end. Overall, a nice and very flavourful beer with a lot of anise, coffee, caramel and nutty flavours that show well and show a lot of complexities, with a strong flavour, but not too pungent body from the malts. Good to try, and perhaps if a bit more malt and body were added, it would make this a bit more robust. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Hy-Vee in Omaha [Papillion], Nebraska on 06-November-2018 for US$1,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Council Bluffs, Iowa a day later on 07-November-2018.

Draft. A- Cocoa, grainy. A- Cooper color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Chocolate, caramel, wheat. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Seems between this and the peanut butter stout, they were trying to go with candy bar themes for Halloween time. They didn't work. This was bland and boring.

Draft. A- None, mild cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, minimal head. T- Cola, mild nuttiness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- What an odd stout. Virtually no aroma. Like none. Couldn't smell a thing in it. The taste was like mixing peanuts into a Coke, which I love but a very weak version of that. No peanut butter or stout notes at all really.

Draft/Fest. A- Weak. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Grassy, bland. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Maybe the most flavorless beer I've had in forever. Really, no aroma, no taste, nothing. In a fest packed with cucumber beers, this was far from the winner. Inoffensive because there was nothing to it.

Draft. A- Malty, watery, mild cocoa, slightly sweet. A- Brown color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Malty, bready, slightly sweet, caramel, honey. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Pretty much like a Newcastle. Honey brings some sweetness on the end. Really not too bad.
