Test vom 8.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,5,6,5,6,5 - 5,40

Can. Golden beer with a small white head. Weak, but pleasant aroma with malty sweetness and some hops. Mostly malty and fruity flavor with some bitterness. Lightly bitter finish. Clean and drinkable. Rating: 4-3-5-3-11-2.6. 060505

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. It’s a clear one, quite pale, golden and with a white head. Grainy nose with some fruityness. The aroma is pretty much the same. Rather boring that is. Medium to thin mouthfeel, quite dry. The finish is pretty much like the initial flavor, slightly more bitter. Super-boring, next to offensively boring. 100814

Bottle
Pale golden, low foamy head. Grainy and a bit hoppy aroma, neutral flavor - watery and boring.

Bottled(500ml). -like I already said, I don’t get the purpose of brewing these kind of beers, so there’s not much else to say except that this beer is worse then Kaiser Premium

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a small, white head. Citrusy aroma. Unpleasant, chemical flavour from the added artificially sweetened lemonade. Terrible finish. To be avoided at all costs. 261005

(Bottle 50 cl) Now I’d be damned - a "Premium" Radler, that’s gotta be a new term in the beerworld! Apparently brewed with 78% beer hence I don’t quite understand the low alcohol. Hazy golden with a nice, white head - almost looks like a Hefe. Fresh and fruity aroma of grapefruit. Grapefruity notes in the flavour with a weak kinin-like bitterness. But generally well balanced between sweet and bitter. Very untraditional and neat, and easily one of the best Radlers I’ve had. 151005

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful chestnut brown with a warm, reddish glow and a creamy beige head. Pronounced, roasted malty aroma - caramel malt like in "hvidtøl" (table beer). Soft, sweetish, roasted malt in the flavour with distinct notes of caramel. Unusual style - sort of a "Triple Hvidtøl"! 131005
