Bottle from Alesbymail. Clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 130416

Clear amber color, small white head. Overriped pineapple, rye and resin aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Tropical fruits - pineapple, kiwi, peach. Also some resin and citrus. Same time a bit harsh, ryeish flavor. Restless overall. Not so fresh anymore, but has potential when fresh.

On cask at the White Cross in Lancaster. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - burnt toffee Taste - more toffee and a little orange but generally less fruit than I expected. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - I was expecting this to be a light fresh golden ale but itโs really a bitter.

500ml bottle as part of a Christmas gift set - Cloudy yellow body, thin scummy top. Nice citrussy aroma, a bit of strong aromatic tea at the back. Clean sweet citrus, a hint of bitterness on the way out. Tea not so strong on the taste as aroma, but pleasant enough anyway.
