Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours an inviting copper-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Rich toasted caramel and gooey pine in the aroma, some earth, bread. Medium sweet flavour with rich, toasted wholegrain bread, touches of spicy rye, orange peel, pithy grapefruit, oily and bitter pine. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Resinous on the finish, with a very satisfying piney and earthy bitterness. Other notes of graham crackers, well toasted wholegrain bread, dried caramel, burnt grains. This is great stuff, a real textbook example of the style. Well done.
