Another bottle from my random grocer mix 6. Yellow orange small headed pour. Nose is citrus, bready, and spice. Tastes of orange peel, honey dew, coriander, bread, florals, some wheaty graininess. Semi sweet finish smooth drinker. Solid white IPA.

Nice hazy orange and copper coloured body with a perfect, two to three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of deep resinous and piney hops with a light grapefruit note and a touch of malt. Medium-bodied; Super pungent and dank hop flavours show through everything with a very bitter bite and a nice grassy and herbal finish. Aftertaste is all about the hops and bitterness - this one is pungent and in a great way. The malt and complexity are balanced and show relatively light, but those hops are here to stay and the IBUs must be through the roof here, a truly nice beer for hop heads. Overall, a great IPA - perhaps one of the best I’ve had in the past year, if not more. If I didn’t see this bottle and/or label, I would have sworn that it came from the West Coast. That said, I’m happy it didnt and hope to buy a few more of these while I can still find them! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 17-May-2015 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 13-July-2015.

Bottle from Harvest Market, Bedford NH. Aroma is rich roasted malts with hint of coffee grounds. Appearance is dark, dark, dark brown--almost black, and opaque. No head and no lacing. Taste is medium sweet with bittersweet smoky and coffee-like finish. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is really nice. Appearance could be better with some kind of head but, other than that, this is pretty strong all around.

Bottle from Harvest Market, Bedford NH. Aroma is citrusy, floral, herbs, grassy hops, with mild basement smell. Appearance is cloudy yellow with finger-width white fluffy head with fair retention and nice lacing. Minimal sparkle. Taste is citrusy balance of sweet and bitter. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture. Average carbonation with late mild zing to the tongue. Finish is dry and mildly bitter. Overall, a nice beer. Make sure to leave the last 10th in the bottle for a better appearance.

Refrigerated 12 oz. bottle from AirForceHops poured into a glass. Hazy golden with medium bright white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is tropical fruit, some herbal hops, and pine hops.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from AirForceHops poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with small/medium white head. Aroma is nice chamomile, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is chamomile, wheat, and some honey. Not bad.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Light lacing was left in a stringy sort of fashion.
The smell started off with crisp semi-sweet, light bitter citrus rind roaming into light piney notes.
The taste was bitter through the citrus rind and also bringing about light pine to gently combine and bring in a subtle crisp little kick of bitter rind in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation sat appropriate - not too bitter, light enough to be construed as a session IPA.
Overall, Otter Creek is recreating themselves these days and putting out good beers. This session IPA works for me and is showing that this style can be great this time of year. I’d have this one again.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Grass and citrus aromas. Soft with sweet hay and caramel upfront turning to dry, sour pith in the lasting finish.

Keg at Whole Foods Fair Lakes, 4/7/15. Clear golden, thin fizzy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of citrus hops and doughy malt. The taste is bitter citrus, tropical hops and pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
