Draught at Against the Grain. Also called Brigid in bottles, which infringed a bit on others territory so rebranded. Light gold with a flat head. Aroma of tart citrus. Flavour is rhubarb, sharp sour, dry, tart with a bit of salt. Nice.

Draught at Alfie Byrnes. Dark brown with a medium head. Aroma of soft fruit and chocolate. Flavour is fruity hop, bitterness that fills the mouth slowly, salty dry finish. Powder chocolate base. Interesting mixture.

Bottle from Dicey Reilly in Ballyshannon. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen. Nice crema head. Nose - soggy cereal and light nutty chocolate. Taste - tasty chocolate, crunchy biscuit. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a solid example of the style.
