(bottle, 33cl) Clear, almost black colour with a brown and dense foamy head. Slightly sugary sweet toasty malty aroma with notes of dark and milk chocolate, accompanied by shy leafy notes. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Moderately toasty and slightly syrupy malty taste with notes of cacao/chocolate; sweet and slightly toasty finish with only hints of bitterness, which do not have a chance to balance things out. Way too sweet for my liking. 18.IX.10

Bottled (33cl, BZ)
Dark, almost opaque brown color, small brown head. Caramelly, dark malty, grainy and cardboardish nose. Decent body. Syrupy. Icky sweet: very caramelly, toffeish, dark malty, sweet soya, very sugary sweet. Almost like drinking some kind of sweet malta. Finish has some alcohol punch.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Nutbrown colour with mediumsized fluffy beigeish brown head. Aroma is mildly roasted malts, caramel malts, also rather sweet syrupy notes. Flavour is being quite much the same, but also has some dark dry fruits and mild grassy/bitter notes in the finish. Overall a quite sweet beer.
