Along the same lines as Newcastle's version. Dark brown with a thin off-white head. A little thin with hints of brown sugar and caramal in the flavor. Mild nutty aroma. Not the best Capital has to offer but it is definitely potable.

Good representation of a Vienna, although nowhere near as good as Elliot Ness. Nice sweet malty flavor and aftertaste. Fairly full-bodied for an Amber, I would try this one again.

I remember picking this one up thinking Great, another Lager. I was pleasantly surprised that this beer had a nice hops presence and a decent aftertaste. According to the description it is a Helles, which makes more sense. Why not call it a Helles if it tastes like one? Either way, it is a better than average Lager if that is what they are calling it.

Hazy gold color with a thin white head. Slight citrus aroma. A little better than the average German Wheat (I thought it was on the same level as Weihenstephaner) but I am still not a big fan of the style. It is too wheaty/citrusy for my tastes.

I didn't find this to be too bad at all, noticeably better than the 1900. Unfortunately even the best Pils will never score big with me because I am just not a fan of the particular style. Typical Pils color/aroma. Medium bitter finish that turned mildly sour. I couldn't detect much malt at all. I am hoping for better from the rest of my Capital sampler.

Pretty ordinary Pils. Part of a Capital sampler pack so I am trying to work my way up the chain. Shouldn't be too hard to beat this one. Slight hops aroma, mildly smooth refreshing flavor but pretty bland overall.
