Description
Dorset Orchards Ciders were born out of a long standing friendship between John Palmer and David Sheppy, sixth generation Master of Cider from Sheppys, in Taunton.
With David’s expertise, and apples sourced from close to the Old Brewery in Bridport, three traditional ciders were crafted and form a welcome addition to the Palmers range, keeping our core values of quality, heritage and above all, flavour.

Hand pulled. Clear still pale golden coloured body. Apple & funky aroma. A bit thin on the body & cloying on the back. Medium sweet, apple & a bit of funk on the end. Easy going.

On keg at the Waterman's near Ashprington. This was pretty similar to the Apple Bee, with fresh sweet apples on the nose and some more dryness on the taste. It was just a little fresher on the finish though. Good cider.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Slightly hazy yellow gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of muted apple, hint of sulphur. Taste is sweet, syrupy apple, fruity, mellow, with a very light sulphury hint. Syrupy mouthfeel, light bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry finish with some residual sweetness. Quite OK
