On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy orange with a firm and lasting white head. Aroma dominated by spicy phenols, along with plenty banana esters. Dry bready malt flavour with banana and spice. I’m not a weizenbock lover, but this is a well crafted beer for sure.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy amber with a firm and lasting off-white head. Aroma filled with fruity and spicy hops, especially orange peel, peach, mango and strawberry. Fruity sweet flavour with spicy hops too, medium bitterness and great drinkability. If you imagine in your head what a Czech brewed American IPA would be like, this is it. Elegant, balanced, and with a certain rusticness from the good malts and the Saaz hops accompanying the Amarillo and Cascades.

Draught @ Brewpub, Prague. Pours hazy orange with a small creamy white head. Banana, bread and perfume. Flavor is bread , banana and wheat. Sweet and estery. Full bodied. Fine example of the style.

My Rating 6400. Draught @ Norbert Brewpub, Strahov Prague. Pours cloudy golden with a small lasting white head. Nose is dominated by fresh hops. Citrus and grass. Dry, smooth, oily and super crisp hoppy flavor. Well balanced and extremely tasty. One of the best IPA’s ive had . .

Bottle. Jet black with a full beige head. Literally jumped out of the bottle, once the cork was popped a gush of beer came out even though it was standing in the fridge for a few days. Light notes of roasted malts. Flavour is much stronger malt with a dry smoky finish. Quite dense and creamy finish

Bottle. Cloudy Amber colour with a cream coloured head. on first sip it appears watery but each subsequent sip fills the mouth with flavour. really interesting beer. medium gas.

Draught at the brewpub. Huge banana, clove, and citrus aroma. A rich, bready nose. Cloudy gold color with a tall, fine head. Quite tart, or nicely tangy, with good fruit, citrus. Rather light, actaully a bit too thin, and not enough banana. Ok, though.
