Citrus, barley malt and grass aroma. Pale yellow with small head. Mildly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter grass flavor. Okay body.

It is an excellent doppelbock, One of the best that I drank. The taste is sweet a bit dry, malt, caramel, bread, some hop, 18.03.2017, buying it at Freiburg am Breisgau, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Sweet malty, biscuity nose. Rich, sweet, malty bode with hardly any bitterness. Almost more Märzen than Helles - but definitely a malt lover's beer. 160225

Swing top bottle 33 cl. Pours a slightly hazy golden with tons of floating impurities and a small and lacing, white head. Very discreet flowery hops in the nose. Medium body, rather sweet malts and a decent finishing hoppiness. Straight and good, but it looks real shitty. 050125
