On cask at the Brackenrigg. Appearance - opaque black with a slightly off white head. Nose - initially elusive as the temperature was a bit cold. Then light roast and chocolate. Taste - chocolate and a tough of charcoal. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a thin finish. Overall - a bit thin.

On cask at the Brackenrigg. Appearance - a beautiful amber with autumnal red chinks. Nose - elusive but a bit like fudge. Taste - toffee all the way and distinct lack of either biscuit bitterness or hop bitterness. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be a lot fresher. Overall - looked good but fell off a cliff after that.

Cask at Moo, Carlisle. Pours dark amber with a thin white head. Creamy malt and fudge aromas. Creamy taste also, more fudge. Sweet finish. Not much like a bitter to be honest.
