Bottle shared with the brewer. Poured a clear dark purple colour with little life. The aroma is big blueberry. The flavour is strong sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, blueberry, vanilla cinnamon, light warm boozy alcohol palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. Very nicely balanced and moreish. Well hidden alcohol.

Bottle sampled. Seep purple. Huge sweet honey, blackberries, blueberries, rose. Lots of sweet berries and honey but also some balancing bitter berry skins and a hint of wood. Quite sweet, quite light bitter and sour. Full bodied. Great!

375ml bottle from the brewer way back when. Poured a mostly clear burgundy colour. The aroma is big red berry fruits, light alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, big jammy, blackcurrant, herbal, woody, vinous warm alcohol palate. Full bodied with no carbonation. Aged for more than three years which has probably improved the flavour. Nicely balanced alcohol.
