Very clear, deep copper and bronze glowing body with an oily, thinnish two centimetre tall tan head that fades fairly quickly that has a very mellow haze toward the bottom. Aroma of resin, syrup, alcohol, malt, honey and a light dose of citrus fruits, but some cloying scents are noticeable. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich, sweet flavour from the syrup, resin and honey with a large malt backbone, some subtle floral and grassy hop notes, but no real bitterness with earthy, slightly biscuity and floral malt that adds a large backbone, but some fruit finishes this off nicely with peaches and apricots and associated sweetness at the end. Aftertaste is deep, cloying, sweet, rich and showing a super pungent, ultra-sweet and relatively noticeable alcohol bite at the end, but shows fairly nicely, considering how deep it could be. Overall, a nice and very sweet, super pungent and deep beer that has a lot of resin, some soft hop notes, but a strong finish that all hits without too much hops at all. Nice to sample, even though this beer isn't perfect - it's pretty nice overall and very sweet. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$5,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-November-2020.

US Pint can (473ml) from Beer52: BB 2nd Sep 2021. Drank at home on 15th Nov 2020. Hazy orange pour, thin white covering on top, does stay though. Citrus and piney aroma/taste, really enjoyed it; uncomplicated and simple, a very drinkable DIPA.

440ml can via Beer52. Pours a muddy orange, small white head which leaves minor retention. Big aroma of orange juice and resin. Malts and oats are detectible in the background. Taste is orange juice, zest, hint of alcohol and a strong bitterness in the finish. Simple but nice. Body is moderate, quite smooth with a soft carbonation; very nice. Enjoyable.
