Pint can, TWSP. Pours black with a dark brown head. Nose is chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, coffee. Dry chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, burnt leaf. Overly spiced, something seems a bit unbalanced here...

Pint can, TWSP. Hazy orange with a small, soft beige head. Nose is like popping open a fresh orange, along with tropical fruit cocktail, including pineapple and mango. Tropical fruit cocktail juice, pine, orange peel, grapefruit peel. Bitter, good.

slightly hazy light amber golden color. Frothy white head. Mangos and orange gummy bears. A bit of bandaid with ok hop character and medium bitterness but this isn’t the best shape. It’s ok

fairly dry with nice apple brandy character, underlying roasted malt but a bit simple base beer. The barrel does a lot for the beer and it’s not bad at all but far from exciting

I might not be evil but I’m probably a bad Santa... Virginia Beer Co. Evil Santa Spiced Milk Stout 7% TONS of spice on the nose, medium to light in body with a raspy mouthfeel. Dark black with a fizzy tan head. The taste is dry chocolate chip cookies with loads of spice. At first the spice is a bit much but then it blends into roasty chocolate oats stout notes. Really nice.

Very clear, deep copper and bronze glowing body with an oily, thinnish two centimetre tall tan head that fades fairly quickly that has a very mellow haze toward the bottom. Aroma of resin, syrup, alcohol, malt, honey and a light dose of citrus fruits, but some cloying scents are noticeable. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich, sweet flavour from the syrup, resin and honey with a large malt backbone, some subtle floral and grassy hop notes, but no real bitterness with earthy, slightly biscuity and floral malt that adds a large backbone, but some fruit finishes this off nicely with peaches and apricots and associated sweetness at the end. Aftertaste is deep, cloying, sweet, rich and showing a super pungent, ultra-sweet and relatively noticeable alcohol bite at the end, but shows fairly nicely, considering how deep it could be. Overall, a nice and very sweet, super pungent and deep beer that has a lot of resin, some soft hop notes, but a strong finish that all hits without too much hops at all. Nice to sample, even though this beer isn't perfect - it's pretty nice overall and very sweet. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$5,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-November-2020.
