Description

Bottle shared at sjogro's birthday. Clear light golden with some bubbles. Fresh crisp apple, light sugary juice, pear, white grape, dry mineral funk. Under medium sweet, light tart and bitter. Medium bodied with oily feel and sparkly carbonation. Lovely.

Bottle shared on 40th birthday, in the sun, on the roof. Clear yellow with white bubbly head. Sweet and tart apple, icy and fresh, light lemony, some soft green herbal leafy touch, a bit of white wine, wood and tannins. Medium sweet and tart. Medium body. Some light oily feel with fine fizzy carbonation. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of La Cuvée Blanche on 07 May 2020 at 19:04 - Score: 8. 750mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a medium, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma reveals a wonderful barnyard funk character, bone dry apple skins, leather, and horse blanket. Flavour is sweet yet dry, with loads of barnyard funk, horse blanket, apple skins, and leather. There's a wonderful champagne-like effervescence. Complex. Quite the treat.

Bottle shared at home. Loud pop. Unclear golden with white head. Mossy moldy musty apples, apple peels, apple stems, moist stone, juicy first but thin and dry finish. Medium body and lots of carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cornouaille on 08 Jul 2019 at 10:28 - Score: 7

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy light golden with huge but short lasting white head. Dry earthy notes, moss, dry apple, light funk, juicy, pear, a touch of fireworks, chalk, old dry cellar notes. Light sweet, very light bitter and tart. Medium bodied with medium dry finish. Good.

Bottle sampled thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy light golden with ring of white bubbles. Thick farmyard notes, goat, cow sweat, soft dry apple, pear, light hay and dry minerals. Just medium sweet, light sour. Medium bodied. Nice!

Bottle shared at home. Loud pop, mist leaking from the bottle. God I love that. Pours loud fizzing slightly unclear golden cider with lots of fine bubbling going on. After a good few minutes the bubbling calms down and leaves a white ring head. Greasy, cheesy and sweaty smell. Old gone brown apples, wet oak wood, mold, moss, pig’s grease and chorizo, goats in the barn, funky smoky parmesan, applesauce, rust and tannins. Moderate sweet and bitter, some greasy sickliness, nuttiness and a strong dry bitter finish with crisp tart edges. Medium body and some spritzy carbonation. Yes I like ‘em like this. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre De Fouesnant on 07 May 2019 at 23:17 - Score: 8.
