Bottle - Lots of barnyard funk. Cloudy gold with some floaties and a nice bubbly white head. Barnyard and nice light apple sweetness. Touch of acidity and a long manure barnyard finish.

750ml bottle at Matt’s. Pours hazy blonde qith a white head. Aroma is funky with some fermented apple notes. Taste is sweety, very dry, smoky. Smoky, tart aftertaste.

Bottle - Lots of farmhouse notes, sweetness and a touch of manure. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Funky, dry and Apple peel with a touch of sweetness. Tons of farmhouse notes.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is extremely funky, with lots of stinky feet, funk and barnyard. Flavour is very funky and sweet, with lots of dry champagne-y notes upfront, followed by lots of barnyard funk and a pretty high amount of residual sweetness. Despite the high sweetness, this is really nice.

750 c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours translucent gold with a fizzy white head. Interesting aroma of apple and golden apple skins. Mild. Freshish. Med body almost. Flavor is quite ripe apple - seems more golden than not. Again there is a woody, astringent aspect - tho it’s not excessively dry. It’s making me think of Norman farmhouse cider. Specifically Le Verger de Giverny. Which I now think I should have rated a bit higher. French cider seems ever quite good.

750 c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours light hazy gold, tho the clear bottle looks a bit orange. Aroma is somewhat earthy apple. Near med body. It starts a bit sweet, moves on to some woody, earthy, astringency. Finishes that way more or less. Again it compares well to Normandy ciders. It seem rather farmhouse that way. Nice drink.

750c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy light gold with a fizzy white head - large one. Carbonation was pushing cork from bottle. Aroma of somewhat mildly oxidized wood and/or apple. A very delicate aroma. Near med body. Flavor is lightly sweet, a bit of skin astringency, some smooth, "aged" apple. All very well blended. A delight to drink. Much more mellow than so many North American ciders. It compares well to Normandy ciders. I’m really liking it.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, apples, wood, sulphur and barnyard. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 150815

Bottle 375ml. corked.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy to fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, dry apples, green apple, sulfur. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dry, apple, wood - horse blanket. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120623]
