Description
We offer a full range of tasty beers, from dark and mysterious stouts and porters through to lagers and hoppy pales. But our true passion is for heritage beers, which is why our core range comprises beers based on nineteenth century recipes and tasting notes. We have also branched out into spirits, creating our Limited Edition Hopped Gin in 2019.

Keykeg at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 3. Pours clear pink with a small, white foam head. Lightly sweet, quite mellow tartness, drying, generic berries. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, dried cherries. OK.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 2. Pours clear yellow with a small, white foam head. Lightly sweet, salty, a bit of citric tartness. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Finishes fairly dry, some lemony tartness. Alright in fact.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 1. Pours clear brown with a bubbly, off-white head. Lightly sweet with tangy semi-dark fruits, berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more berry tang. Is it supposed to be like this? If so, that’s a shame.

From cask at Dog & Bell with Terje 24.11.22. Almost clear copper. Head is diminishing to nothing. Aroma and very sweet taste of overwhelmingly sweet malt, juniper, bog-myrtle, heather, birch leaves, bonfire, smoked sausages. Some acidity from the kveik in the aftertaste.
