O Brother Brewing is a family owned brewery from Kilcoole, County Wicklow. Back in 2011, three Brothers - Barry, Brian and Padhraig O’Neill - got put their minds together to create this independent brewery. 440ml can. Pours murky orange with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, ripe peaches, mango, tropical. Taste is sweet, caramel, peachy, ripe stone fruits, tropical, mango, orange. Medium body, sticky, soft carbonation. A touch on the sweet side but very decent.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a large frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, pine, grapefruit. Taste is roasty, chocolatey, pine, grapefruit, coffee, quite bitter throughout. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation.

Can at home. Brown color, beige head. Smell and taste malts, nice mix of dark malts, roast a bit and hoppy notes. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.

Can from McHughs. Cloudy pale orange with a medium head. Aroma of pithy orange. Flavour is fruity, melon and orange, even fruit bitter base, lingering crisp bitter fruit finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown with orange chinks. Off white generous head. Nose - pine, resin, earthy, dirty toffee. Taste - pine and toffee. Resin and earth again. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture. Dry, lightly bitter finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but good.

Can at home. Hazy pale yellow color. Smell and taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy and decently bitter. Quite decent.

Can at home, 08/03/19. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange pith, melon, toasted malts, tangerine, grass. Taste comprises orange peel, grass, light pine, soft breads, apricot, faint minerality. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok pale ... if a little middle of the road.

Bottle shared on Level 42, 07/02/19. Many thanks! A clear nut brown coloured pour wth a frothy light tan head. Aroma si dirty pine, nutty malts, hazelnut, earthy roast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dirty toasted malts, earth, dirty pine, light metalic, brown leaves. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carboantion, Not bad.

Can shared on Level 42, 07/02/19. Many thanks! A hazed dull orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is soft bread, wheat, mellow dank, light tang. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky orange, mango , peach, apricot. Palate is semi sweet, sticky, moderate carboantion, not bad.

Cloudy pale golden colour, huge frothy white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, orange, lemon, light pine. Mild taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, orange, lemon, pine resin. Mild bittersweet aftertaste, pine resin, orange pith, earthy notes. Light to medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation; surprisingly full flavor for such a low abv session ale.
