O Brother Brewing is a family owned brewery from Kilcoole, County Wicklow. Back in 2011, three Brothers - Barry, Brian and Padhraig O’Neill - got put their minds together to create this independent brewery. 440ml can bought at Seven Seasons, carried back home and shared with Finn and djoeye. Chalk white head to a hazed golden body. Clingy lacing. Mid-dry citrus nose, promising. Taste is juicy with grapefruit and pineapple. Mid-sweet juicy ending. Fine bodied, Likable. (Tromsø 24.01.2019).

Boks spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og djoeye på Nerstranda. Gusjegrågul. Filmskum. Sitrusaroma. Smaken sitron. Uvariert.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, resin, caramel. Taste is fruity, orange, mango, sweet malts, caramel, bitter rindy finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Decent classic DIPA.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of citrus fruit, pine, resin. Taste of citrus, orange, stone fruit, pine, resin, malt, dry-ish bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good but fairly standard.

440ml can. Pale golden with a light haze, white head. Citrusy aroma, mandarin. Taste is juicy, citrus, orange, mandarin, light rindy bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Great SIPA.

440mml. can. Tasted on the 18/01/2018 at home. Slightly hazed orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma is full of orange, tangerine and some citrusy hops. Taste is citrusy with strong presence of orange and some bread. Finish is medium bitter and resinous. Next one please!

Can shared in London - cheers! Pours cloudy gold with a frothy, white head. Pithy, flinty, some bitter lemon rind, dry pale malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light ripe citrus fruits in the finish. OK overall.

Can at home, from drinkstore.ie, 29/12/18. hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange squash, airy malts, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises orange peel, grass, light floral tones, melon, toasted grains, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced moderate hop bitterness. Ok session gear for the ABV but lacks a little vibrancy.

Can at home, from drinkstore.ie, 29/12/18. Murky orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, light booze, melon, papaya. Taste comprises bitter sweet tropical fruits, old skool lilt, grass, light pine, passionfruit, cantaloupe melon, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness and a rising boost. Decent clean and simple DIPA that offers a light buzz in terms of some alcohol coming through.

440ml can. BBE 19/07/19. Clear golden, sweet and grassy with some hay, grapefruit, citrus and zesty orange pulp notes. Decent.
