O Brother Brewing is a family owned brewery from Kilcoole, County Wicklow. Back in 2011, three Brothers - Barry, Brian and Padhraig O’Neill - got put their minds together to create this independent brewery. Can shared at the Columbus tasting 31/10/2018. Many thanks! A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a loose sticky white head. Aroma si sticky orange, tangerine, mango, white grape, mango. Flavour is composed of mixed breakfast orange, mango, white grape, , tangerine. spicy citrus. Palate is semi sweet, light sticky, moderate carboantion. . Nice rounded, juicy stuff, rubber.

Can shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head. Not bad, some juicy citrus, light lemony tang, pale bread, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Rindy bitterness in the finish, orange pulp. Not bad.

Can thanks to Paul. Appearance - cloudy orange. Nice lacy head. Nose - orange and apricot. A hint of caramel. Taste - more apricot. Caramel biscuit, nice orange peel finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy, and a fairly good finish. Overall - good.

Can sample thanks to Paul. Appearance - cloudy yellow orange. Nice fluffy head. Nose - mango going into guava. Light citrus edge to it. Taste - more guava, overripe melon. Lime tang at the back but mild. Palate - light to medium bodied and creamy. Gentle bitterness on the finish. Overall - this should be under the New England IPA style methinks. Good gear!

Can sample thanks to Paul. Appearance - hazy yellow with a very generous fluffy white head. Nose - orange and orange zest. Just a hint of pine or resin. Taste - more orange, possibly an edge of pink grapefruit, light resin again on the finish. Palate - light bodied, zingy texture through the middle section. Dry zesty finish. Overall - good example of the style.

Bottle at Mum and Dads, from Tesco Extra Dundalk, 23/09/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a well presented lasting off white head. Nose is citric sherbets, light pine, grass, tangerine, orange squash. Taste comprises orange pith, juicy citric peel, grass, toasted grains, lemon drizzle, citric tinged straw, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced hop bitterness. Decent enough sessioner.

Bottle at Mum and Dads, from Tesco Extra Dundalk, 22/09/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange pith, grassy, lemon rind, light floral notes, straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, citric pith, light perfume, hint of pine, lemon rind, melon, mellow tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok.

Can at Mum and Dads, picked up from Callans, 22/09/18. Hazed orange amber with a well presented egg shell white head that retains well. Nose is old skool leaning, bitter orange, caramel malts, grapefruit, light weed, pine. Taste comprises orange pith, light skunky notes, grassy, raw pineapple, light minerality, kiss of booze, spruce, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with semi aggressive hop bitterness. Ok Old Skool DIPA if a little bit harsh at times.
