Description
Founded in 2018, by Jasper Tupman and Stuart Winstone, who share a passion for foraging, fermentation and flavour. These two invested everything they had, to build their unique vision of carefully crafted beers with a strong sense of place.

Later joined by Dave Williams as Head Brewer and Lee Calnan as Sales Director, 2020 marked the next phase of development for a small team with big ambitions; to bring innovative, modern farmhouse brewing to a wider audience in the UK and beyond.

By brewing with the very best of local ingredients and alternative techniques that span between historic styles and modern brewing technology, our approach to mixed fermentation and barrel ageing puts the emphasis on balance of flavour and drinkability. Minimal intervention is the key to ensuring that there’s a little bit of nature in every sip.

Draught keg at Martin Bros Micropizzeria, Leicester. Murky dark gold, hazy with a ring of white head. Sticky maple syrup in the aroma. Taste is more peach, still maple and caramel flavours which is a little jarring. Short-ish finish withvueavy carbonation. Good, but a but too strange to be one of Yonder's best.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 24. Pours a deep hazed crimson pink with a small white head. Quite sweet, quite tangy.. vanilla and blueberry coming through well, yuzu not detectable and perhaps not needed, bit of a muddle of I'm honest.

On tap at the George & Dragon, Pensford July 2024. Hazy and pale gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Easy drinking for the ABV with some citrus hops, rich tea malts, pineapple and tangerine fruits and a dryish finish. Good.

Opaque dark beer, thick tan frothy head. Smell is lactose-y vanilla with a little malt. Flavour goes a bit hard on the lactose in all honesty, so it has quite an artificial flavour. There's some vanilla and a decent maltiness but the lactose is a bit overbearing which spoils it a little. Not bad though, and has a decent body which helps.
