Bottle, 8%. OK caramelly and yeasty aroma, hint of plastic. Cloudy dark brown colour. The flavour is nicely malty with some yeast and a good sweet vinousness. Good Weizenbock flavour, but a bit thin considering ABV.

Bottle. Weak caramelly aroma. Almost clear golden colour, small floaties. The flavour is a bit bready, actually tastes a little old. Other than that, it has a little caramelly malt note, but not very exciting.

Pale amber pour, darker than youβd expect for the style. Nice head, but lacking in persistence.A huge wheaty/doughy aroma, with the sweetness of apples and apricots. Some banana in the background. Amazingly refreshing. Very slight skunk.Taste is of wheat and sourdough bread, hints of sweet alcohol (white wine comes to mind) yet still has a rather dry finish. Lacking in banana and clove notes, and the clinging weak bitterness was a bit of a turn-off.A tad weak-bodied, with little carbonation. Was awesomely refreshing after an intensely tiring day at uni (had to go to all of one lecture!).

2006 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Best by 07/2008. Explosive uncorking. Pours with a huge, foamy white head an a hazy orange body. Good retention. Very light aroma with alcohol, chardonnay grapes, cereal and honey. Taste is honey, cereal, alcohol, grape, pepper and diacetyl. Lively bubbles and sort of a buttery, high alcohol mouthfeel. Very similar to Deus in this respect.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one at his Februmergency Tasting. This clear, dark amber brew sits under an average-sized, fleeting, off-white head. Sweet, smoky malt aroma. A bit sweet, but smooth with some depth. Nice smoky notes. Not great, but considering itβs origin, it surprised me.
