Hazy dark orange body under an average sized off-white head. Juicy malt and citrus hop aroma. The flavor starts sweet with the bitterness kicking in immediately as it heads to a dry finish. Almost IPA territory here.

Dark Brown, Small head almost immediately dissipates leaving some spotty lacing. Sweet Malt Aroma. Very Sweet, Chocolate, Molasses, Fig, Raisins Clover, Bitter Coffee Like Finish. Reminds me of Goose Island Christmas Ale. More of Brown Ale or Porter than a Stout. Nevertheless it is Pretty Good. Enjoyed it.

Tap at the Hey Merchant, Houston, 21/05/13. Hazed golden with a good sized off white head that soon reduces in size. Nose is pale malts, grass, light citrus, touch of fart, rather bland. Taste comprises cereals, citrus, pale malts, grass, light sugars. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Underwhelming stuff.

Bottle courtesy of t0rin0, thank you. Clear maroon briwn color, tan edge head. Aroma of chocolate brownie mix. Taste is chocolste syrup, raspberries. Decent.

Aroma: The aroma is pine over citrus hops, with plenty of caramel and bready malts
Appearance: A clear orange color, with a reddish tint, and a small off-white head and streaky lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, with plenty of malt flavors, and a rather large pine bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, with average carbonation, a sticky feel, and a long, dry finish
Overall Impression: I like this beer, it is a pretty solid DIPA. I wouldn't put it up there with the top examples of the style, but it has all of the right components to make it feel fairly close. At 9.2% this is dangerously drinkable as well.

Hazy Dark Orange, Huge Foamy Head, Lots Of Lacing. Pine Aroma. Tastes Pine, Hops, Citrus, sweet watery finish. Decent Bitter Aftertaste. Thin Body. Tasty, Refreshing. Nice.

Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a thick and foamy off-white head that diminishes gradually. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, toasted malt and grapefruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at Hay Merhcant, Houston, 21/05/13. Reddish amber with a good sized frothy off white head. Nose carries a good pine bite, hops, bitter grapefruit, caramel malt, tropical fruits. Taste comprises bitter hops, pine, orange pith, bitter grapefruit, caramel malt, light booze. Full end of medium bodied with fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Good stuff.

Tap (nitro) at the Ginger Man, Houston TX, 21/05/13. Light black with a medium tan head that retains. Nose is roast malt, dark toffee, chocolate. Taste comprises bitter roast malt, molases, chocolate, maltesers. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry roasty finish. The alcohol is well disguised. Decent enough stout.
